The Truth About Empowerment
We get asked often what empowerment really means, where it lives, how it looks, and how it shows up in our everyday lives. The truth is, empowerment is not something we find in other people, titles, achievements, or applause. It isn’t gifted to us, granted to us, or handed down. It’s something we choose. Something we cultivate. Something we embody, over and over again.
We live in a world that constantly teaches women to search outward, for validation, for answers, for permission. But the real shift happens when we stop outsourcing our power and start reclaiming it from within. Empowerment is born in the moments we trust our intuition, speak without fear, honor our boundaries, and rise in alignment with our greatest self, not who the world tries to shape us into.
This month, as we close out the year, I invite you to look at the places where you’ve grown, the truths you’ve embraced, and the power you’ve rebuilt inside yourself. Empowerment is not loud. It’s not a performance. It’s a quiet, steady knowing… a deep remembrance that you are your own source.
And when each of us stands in that truth, together, we become unstoppable.
With love and power,
Crystal Walent

November Empower Circle Recap 🌟
This month’s Empower Circle was a powerful celebration of vision, artistry, and devotion as we gathered to honor Kelly Pegni and the official reveal of her new brand and studio, NueVeil. After spending an entire year bringing this dream to life, Kelly crystallized a vision that once lived only in her imagination into a breathtaking reality, a space crafted with intention, precision, and soul in every detail.
NueVeil is more than a beauty studio; it is a sanctuary where healing, artistry, and innovation come together. Rooted in paramedical tattooing, permanent makeup, brow artistry, and advanced aesthetics, Kelly’s mission is clear: to restore confidence, elevate natural beauty, and create transformative experiences that honor the whole person. Her work sets a new standard for compassion, safety, and excellence in the DMV and beyond.
Several Women Empower members came together to support and celebrate Kelly’s launch, not just her work, but her courage, her devotion, and the future she is building. This moment wasn’t just about opening a studio; it was about witnessing a woman step fully into her calling, and amplifying her as she rises. Kelly, your vision inspires us. Your space reflects your heart. And your commitment to empowering others through beauty, healing, and innovation is exactly what Women Empower stands for. We are so proud of you and we cannot wait to watch NueVeil flourish.
